Brief Introduction:

Weidong Zhang received his BS, MS, and PhD degrees from Zhejiang University, China, in 1990, 1993, and 1996, respectively, and then worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Shanghai Jiaotong  University. He joined Shanghai Jiaotong University in 1998 as an Associate Professor and has been a Full Professor since 1999. From 2003 to 2004 he worked at the University of Stuttgart, Germany, as an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow. He is a recipient of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, China and Cheung Kong Scholar, Ministry of Education, China. He is currently Director of the Engineering Research Center of Marine Automation，Shanghai Municipal Education Commission. His research interests include control theory, machine learning theory, and their applications in industry and autonomous systems.

Brief Introduction:

Prof. Guitao Cao obtained her Ph.D. in 2006 from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a focus on pattern recognition. She is currently a professor of Software Engineering Institute, East China Normal University (ECNU), Shanghai. ECNU is the top tier university in China with a high rank (Level A) in Software Engineering in China. She was also a visiting researcher with University of Missouri Columbia. She has published decades of peer reviewed papers in top venues including IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, and IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering. Prof. Cao is also the Principal Investigator for many research funding with major sponsors including the National Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, and Science Foundation of Shanghai. Her research interests include pattern recognition, image processing and machine learning.

Brief Introduction:

Xiaofang Yuan, PhD, Professor, doctoral supervisor. Mainly engaged in intelligent control theory and application, electric vehicle control and other aspects of teaching and research work. He has presided over more than 10 projects, including general projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, youth projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, special postdoctoral projects of China, science and technology plan of Hunan Province and Doctoral Program Fund of Ministry of education. More than 50 papers have been published in IEEE Transactions and other international authoritative journals in the field of control, including 40 SCI papers and 1 highly cited ESI paper.

Research Area: Mechanical system dynamics, Noise and Vibration Control

Brief Introduction:

Enwei Chen, PhD, Professor, doctoral supervisor.  Mainly engaged in mechanical system dynamics, noise and Vibration Controland other aspects of teaching and research work. He has presided over more than 10 projects, including general projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, projects of National Natural Science Foundation of Anhui, special postdoctoral projects of China. More than 60 papers have been published in Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing、Journal of Sound and Vibration、Journal of Vibration and Control and other international authoritative journals.
